Investment Criteria

Three focus areas, each grounded in operational insight rather than financial engineering alone.

• • • • •

I

Lower Middle Market Private Equity Co Investment

We invest gap equity in lower middle market businesses ($3 to 15M EBITDA) alongside select independent and funded sponsors. We focus on incentive alignment and growth theses with a high degree of visibility. Our structured, efficient diligence process enables us to move with conviction.

II

Niche Private Credit

We deploy capital in niche private credit opportunities across the middle market where traditional lenders are absent or constrained. We seek situations where our operational insights, sector expertise, and long-term orientation allow us to structure and underwrite bespoke credit solutions with attractive risk adjusted returns.

III

Opportunistic Fund Investments

We make select and opportunistic fund investments across private equity, private credit, real estate, venture capital, and other asset classes — partnering with differentiated managers where we can build meaningful, collaborative relationships and access unique deal flow or strategic insights.

Why Five Points

• • • • •

60-Year Track Record

A multi-generational legacy of building and scaling middle market businesses across legacy industries gives us pattern recognition institutional LPs simply cannot replicate.

Operator Mindset

We understand what it takes to win in the middle market — not as observers, but as builders. Our underwriting is rooted in operational reality, not just financial engineering.

Patient & Flexible Capital

As a family office, we are not constrained by fund timelines or LP mandates. We offer patient, long-duration capital and structure solutions that fit the opportunity.

Aligned Partnership

We seek deep, enduring relationships with sponsors and managers — not transactional interactions. Our interests are aligned over the long term.
