Sam Goodman
Managing Director
Prior to joining Five Points Family Ventures, Sam was a member of the Corporate & Transactional team at the international law firm of McDermott Will & Emery, where he focused his practice on mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate advisory matters, primarily representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. He began his legal career in the Corporate and Securities group at Greenberg Traurig. Sam also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law, where he teaches an advanced course on transaction skills.
Sam earned his B.S. in Business Administration and M.A. in International Business from the University of Florida. He received his J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law.
Sam currently serves on the Board of Mid-Atlantic Finance Company and TICE.
Scott Warnock
Managing Director
Scott spent over 20 years at Raymond James & Associates, Inc., most recently as Senior Vice President in a private client group practice, serving the unique needs of public company executives. Over his tenure at Raymond James, he served in many roles in the Equity Capital Markets and Private Client divisions of the firm. His areas of expertise included equity compensation, insider trading regulations and Rule 10b5-1 plans, concentrated equity solutions, directed share programs, structured notes, share repurchases, and strategies for raising equity capital.
Scott earned his B.B.A. in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame. He became a CFA charter holder in 2003.
Scott currently serves as a Board Observer at TICE.
Daniela
Sanchez
Executive / Personal Assistant and Operations Manager
Daniela assists the Managing Directors and Five Points Family Ventures’ principals and is responsible for managing their day to day activities as well as a wide range of executive administrative tasks. She also oversees all office operations. Daniela brings 25 years of experience to the firm supporting C-level executives, with over 10 years of experience in the private equity, hedge fund and asset management industries. She earned her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and Social Science from Norwalk Community College.
